The district describes Wallowa Memorial as “a 25 Bed Critical Access Hospital and Level IV Trauma Center,” “ReBuilt in 2007,” at 601 Medical Parkway, with a rehabilitation clinic for physical, occupational and speech therapy next door at 603 Medical Parkway. Its clinics operate as Wallowa Memorial Medical Clinic, which calls itself “part of Wallowa Memorial Hospital” and says it has served the county “since 2015 when Wallowa Mountain Medical (formed in 1991 by Dr. Devee Boyd) joined the Wallowa County Health Care District”; it lists four locations, at 603 Medical Parkway and 306 W North Street in Enterprise, 800 N Main in Joseph and 701 W Highway 82 in Wallowa, a team of thirty and a single appointment line. The district names Daniel Grigg as chief executive officer, who joined in 2023, and Craig Swart as medical clinic executive from February 2024. It also describes the Wallowa Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, “founded in the 1950s,” which raises funds through a gift shop and bake sales. The clinic entity, Wallowa Memorial Medical Clinic, was registered with the state in 2020; that is a filing date, and it is recorded as the district’s clinic rather than as a separate atlas record.
